Returns Acceptable
Cores Unacceptable core returns consist of incomplete cylinder heads (bare heads, no cam or rocker arm assemblies). A reduction of one half core charge will be assessed to any cores not returned complete. THIS IS A MUST READ DOCUMENT This head is reconditioned, that means this head was built with used (reconditioned) parts. Parts that is still serviceable, but not new. Most heads have been welded or repaired. We strive to maintain the highest quality of work possible with the latest equipment available. New valve seats have been installed when needed. All heads have been vacuum checked after completion to insure proper sealing. All valves are reground or replaced as necessary and valve springs are checked for proper installed pressure. Heads are painted to prevent rust. Please look before installing. Is this the correct head? We strive to provide the correct head upon initial order, however mistakes can happen. Compare the head with the head removed from the vehicle and check everything to be sure it is correct. Many heads have the same casting number but will not work on your vehicle because of different bolt patterns. Is the valve cover going to fit? Is there a hole for the fuel pump? Is there an opening for all your sending units? Now is the time to be sure, not after it is bolted to the block. The final check is the installer’s responsibility. WE WILL NOT PAY LABOR FOR REMOVAL OF THE WRONG HEAD. Please check the cooling system, radiator, radiator fan, water pump, fuel injection system, ignition timing, exhaust system for blockage, engine sensors, both fuel and timing, fan belts and anything that has or will cause the engine to over heat. Cylinder heads are like fuses in the electrical system. They blow because of an external problem but are very seldom the cause of the problem. BEFORE INSTALLATION! MAKE SURE TO COMPARE ORIGINAL CYLINDER HEAD TO THIS REPLACEMENT CYLINDER HEAD. CYLINDER
